About ArtC
Working under the name ArtC, Christina Butt is an artist and musician originally from the UK.
Over the past five years she has lived in London, New York City and most recently Sydney, with many trips and shorter adventures to other parts of the world in between.
From the dazzling lights and swooningly high buildings of The Big Apple, to the extraordinary neon crabs in the Galapagos Islands, Christina finds inspiration in the diverse tapestry of culture, colour and natural splendour she has been privileged to experience. Her abstract art draws together all of these elements and reflects a love of travel and a thirst for adventure.
Using primarily acrylic on canvas, she creates bold abstract designs animated with a vibrant colour palette often including metallics, gold mica flakes and iridescent interference shades.
Christina is currently based in London and working on a new collection of abstract art, which will be soon available as canvas art prints and collectible art cards.
In addition to her artistic pursuits, she founded www.simplydinner.co.uk, a unique dinner dating service for groups of singles in London, UK.
